Cartridge Comments
This is an interesting one. Basically we have a simple two in one cart, with a button to switch between the games. The cart feels very sturdy and well built, though it is unusually heavy. The label art is a bit bland, but it gets the job done. On the left we have some nice Snow Brothers artwork and on the right there is a very sad looking Bomberman. Above each image is some Chinese text, presumably the appropriate titles for each.
Game Selection
There are only two games included on this cart, though thankfully they are both of a high standard. Snow Brothers Jr. is pretty much Capcom's answer to Taito's Bubble Bobble, except with a lot more snow. The game is based on the NES version, though this handheld version was never released in Europe. It was released in the US, but the copies today are scarce and don't show up on ebay too often. The second game is Bomber Boy, which is known as Dynablaster in Europe and Atomic Punk in the US. Sometimes I wish they would just stick to the same title. In any case, this is an excellent game based on the Bomberman series. This game is also very much like the NES version, except with a slight hint of RPG elements and various worlds to explore.
Cart Dissection
This cart appears to have no kind of screw at the back at all and there seems no obvious way to open it. I was curious to see inside this one, but I guess I'll never know.
Final Comments
Overall this is a very pleasing cart, with two great games in one.
